Umgebung: CentOS 9

Der Hinweis in der Dokumentation, dass man fuer RedHat 8 libnsl.so.1 nachinstallieren soll, gilt auch fuer CentOS 9.
So installiert man das passende RPM fuer CentOS 9:

# wget http://mirror.stream.centos.org/9-stream/BaseOS/x86_64/os/Packages/libnsl-2.34-61.el9.x86_64.rpm
# dnf localinstall libnsl-2.34-61.el9.x86_64.rpm

Wenn man das nicht tut, funktioniert zwar die DP Client Installation, der "secure_comm" schlaegt aber fehl:

# ./omnisetup.sh -server win2022de.fritz.box -install da,ma,cc

  Failed to get peer certificate.
  [12:1604] Cannot reach the CRS on the Cell Manager system.
  CRS on the Cell Manager host is not reachable or is not up and running.

Client was not imported into the cell.
  This could be due to this client is not configured for secure communication on the cell manager.
  Please perform the import manually from cell manager or from one of the other clients of the cell.

Installation/upgrade session finished.


Versucht man die "Secure Communication" manuell nachzuholen funktioniert das nicht:

# /opt/omni/bin/omnicc -secure_comm -configure_peer win2022de
  Error getting certificate from the peer 'win2022de.fritz.box'.
  Failed to get peer certificate.

Auch das lokale regenerieren der Zertifikate nicht, aber das bringt einen zumindest auf die richtige Spur:

#/opt/omni/bin/omnicc -secure_comm -regenerate_cert
 /opt/omni/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
 Certificate regeneration failed.


An dieser Stelle kann man libnsl.so.1 fuer CentOS 9 nachinstallieren, wie oben beschrieben.

Der "secure_comm" funktioniert aber immer noch nicht:

# /opt/omni/bin/omnicc -secure_comm -configure_peer win2022de
  Error getting certificate from the peer 'win2022de.fritz.box'.
  Failed to get peer certificate.

Warum?
Die Zertifikate sind bei der Installtion nicht generiert worden.
Also sind sie (nur auf dem Client) nochmal zu generieren.

# /opt/omni/bin/omnicc -secure_comm -regenerate_cert

# /opt/omni/bin/omnicc -secure_comm -configure_peer win2022de
Host 'win2022de.fritz.box' configured for secure configuration successfully.

Danach lief der Import ueber den Cell Manger problemlos.
